UIA Inspections, formerly Underwriter’s Inspection Associates, has been providing detailed Inspection Reports for Commercial and Residential properties for over 40 years. Our Service Area includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
We were founded in 1970 by Mr. Jack Fisher, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa. Jack’s vision was to create an inspection company that catered exclusively to the insurance industry with focus on reports that were accurate, thorough, and affordable. He successfully crafted UIA into one of the most respected names in the industry.

Although now semi-retired and living in sunny Florida, Jack remains an advisor to the company and still performs phone inspections for Commercial General Liabilty policies. His sons Mark & Maury Fisher remain a driving force in the company. Mark heads our commercial inspections department, while Maury leads our residential division.
Our methods may have changed, but our mission remains the same. Providing accurate, thorough, affordable reports in a timely fashion.
